His long term friends knew him as Rat. I knew him as Bill. I knew him long enough in Honduras and Texas to call him a close friend. He taught me the ins and outs of survival in Honduras! Hell of a guy with a big heart but one crazy dude when he wanted to be. I enjoyed all aspects of Bill's character, he was a hell of a guy and I will miss him. Hang in there girls, love you too., be there soon

I have known Bill for several years in our community and he has since become a cherished friend. We have shared may interesting adventures together on many occasions. He will be sorely missed, but he will be in a better place without the pain and suffering. He was my hero.

My condolences to Bills family. I am an old friend from long ago. I met Bill in Lynwood, California in the early 60's. Bill got me inserted in scuba diving. Bill and Jim his brother lived with me in an apartment we shared for a short time . I remember coming home from work one morning to find Bill and a friend holding Jim as they tried to shave his beard in half. I believe Jim had a little to much to drink the night before. Lots of good memories.
May the Lord receive Bill with blessings.
Almighty Father, eternal God, hear our prayers for Your son Bill whom You have called from this life to Yourself. Grant him light, happiness, and peace. Let him pass in safety through the gates of death, and live forever with all Your saints in the light You promised to Abraham and to all his descendants in faith. Guard him from all harm and on that great day of resurrection and reward raise him up with all Your saints. Pardon his sins and give him eternal life in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
