Lois Virginia (Beyer) Peery

Rhome ~ Lois Virginia Peery, 87, went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Burleson.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Boyd. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Decatur.

Pastor J.D. Allen will officiate.

 Lois was born on January 2, 1930 to Otto and Marie (Hoffman) Beyer in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Peery on April 30, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas. Lois was a retired cook at Birdville ISD. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Boyd. Lois volunteered with Meals on Wheels, Lords Acre Fundraiser, Various Church committees, and visited patients in the hospital.  

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 1 brother; 1 sister. 

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, David Peery and wife Bonnie of Burleson; her grandchildren, Miranda Brown and husband Dusty of Arlington, Lauren Peery of Burleson; her great grandchild, Kylie Peery of Burleson; her sister in law, Audrey Williams and her husband Buddy; her nephew, Daniel Williams of Bryan; her niece, Rachel Jones and husband Toby of Fort Worth; her great nieces, Grace and Olivia; and a host of friends.

Donations may be made to First United Methodist Church in Boyd or American Heart Association.
