Lonnie Lee Niblett

Pickton, Texas ~ Lonnie Lee Niblett 73, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in Longview, Texas.

Visitation is Friday, July 14, 2017 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas from 6 - 8 pm. Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Paradise Cemetery in Paradise, Texas.

Lonnie was born on January 9, 1944 in Bridgeport to father Carlton and mother Magel (Elam) Niblett. He was a teacher and a coach for over 30 years at Como Pickton ISD. Lonnie served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years. 

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richey Niblett; his sister, Carlene Morehead; his grandson, Kiker Plaza; his brother-in-law, Randall Morehead.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Margaret Niblett of Pickton, Texas; his son, Chance Niblett of Denton, Texas; his step-son, James Mathis and wife Melanie of Karthaus, Pennsylvania;  his daughter, Candace Plaza and husband Paco of Denton, Texas; his step-daughters, Janell Bickham and husband Kirk of Hugh Springs, Texas, Jennifer Allen and husband Joseph of Hugh Springs, Texas; his brothers, Wayne Niblett and wife Clara Ruth of Paradise, Texas, Don Niblett and wife Earlene of Decatur, Texas; his sisters, Bobbie Badger and husband Ed Lee of Decatur, Texas, Ann Jones and husband Roy of Paradise, Texas, Kathy Horton and husband Homer of Paradise, Texas; his grandchildren, Jarett, Skatter, Clayton, Marc, Isabella, Jakob, Maggie, Chelsey, Michael, Faith, Ashlea, Adam, Jeff, Autumn; his great grandchildren, Julian, Deklynd.
