Bridgeport ~ Dora Cannie Crisp, 78, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in Decatur, Texas
Funeral is 2 PM Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family to receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
The Reverend Rick Davis to officiate. Pallbearers: Kendell North, Chance Crisp, Ethan Crisp, Tag Nolen, Billy Joe Green, Jonathan Fippinger, Jarrod Novicke and Leonard Green. Honorary Pallbearer, Andy Floyd Crisp.
Dora was born November 25, 1940 to Floyd Ivan and Maggie Pauline Barker in Hope, Arkansas. She married John Henry Crisp August 10, 1955 in Levelland Texas, he preceded her in death along with her parents, her son, Floyd Ivan Crisp and her sister, Maxine Strickland. Dora was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeport.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, John Crisp and wife Beverly of Bridgeport, Henry Crisp and wife Thresia of Decatur, Tony Crisp of Bridgeport; 6 granchildren, Kendell, Tiffany, Adreane, Chance, Ethan and Rian; 8 great grandchildren; her sister, Fannie Maye Green of Iowa Park; her brother, Ivan Floyd Reynolds of Yoakum; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
