Jacky Ray "Jack" Coffman

August 14, 1934 ~ September 4, 2018 (age 84)

Paradise ~ Jacky Ray “Jack” Coffman, 84, a retired truck driver and car salesman, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in Paradise.

Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Paradise Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. 

Jamie Mathis will officiate. Pallbearers include Jim Coffman, Mo Coffman, Mike Garrison, Derrick Elliot, Tim Longenbaugh, and Russell Park. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Coffman and Joe Coffman.

Jack was born on August 14, 1934 to Samuel Sagville Coffman and Lela (Hunt) Coffman in English, Texas. He was united in marriage to Wanda Janell Gibbs on October 23, 1954 in DeKalb.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Nell Coffman of Paradise; his daughter, Jackie Nell (Coffman) Blake and husband George of Paradise, his sons, Jacky Ray Coffman, Jr and wife Geni of Paradise and Jim Gibbs Coffman and wife Shaneece of Decatur; his grandchildren, Mo Coffman, Jessie Rae Longenbaugh, Sammie Jo Elliott, Maccie Ryan Park, Lauren Snow, Trey Coffman, Tara Coffman, Jordan Coffman, Paige Turlington, Tyler Coffman, Tra Vanhoose; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. 

On behalf of the Coffman Family, we would like to say “Thank you” and express our sincere appreciation to Nurse Cameron and Amie Wiley for their loving and tender care, they provided to our Dad during his time of need.
