Jerry Lynn Weatherly

Azle ~ Jerry Lynn Weatherly, 75, a retired tool maker, went to be with our Lord on August 29, 2017 in Reno, Texas.

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Azleland Cemetery in Azle, Texas. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6–8 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home chapel in Boyd.

Rev. Ian Mostert will officiate.

Jerry was born on April 29, 1942 to C.H. and Dorothy (Vaught) Weatherly in Clarksville, Texas. He was a member of IAM (International Association of Machinists). Jerry was a retired tool maker for Lockheed Martin. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Billy Pierce of Azle; his daughter, Tanya Hanson and husband John of White Settlement; his granddaughters, Dayna Lynn and Lauren Cordell; his grandson, Michael Cordell; his mother, Dorothy Peek of White Settlement; his brother, Richard Weatherly of Azle; his great grandchildren, Luke and Owen Free; his step-children, Rhonda Bell and spouse Kelli Clark of Azle and James Pierce of Azle; his 5 step grandchildren; his 10 step great grandchildren; and 4 step great-great grandchildren; extended family and a host of friends.
