Jerry Williamson Obituary

Jacksboro ~ Jerry Lynn Williamson, 82, a retired Jack County Deputy Sheriff, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Decatur.

Memorial is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Jacksboro Church of Christ. There will be a gathering before the service at 12:00 p.m. in the Jacksboro Church of Christ Fellowship Hall for anyone who wants to visit.

Pastor Aaron Lewis will officiate.

Jerry was born on March 17, 1937 to Homer and LouCele (Akin) Williamson in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Vaughn on May 30, 1959 in Childress, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 56 years, Carolyn Williamson; and his sister, Tina.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Vaughn Williamson and wife Angela, and Rex Williamson and wife Lisa all of Jacksboro; his daughter, Missy Bindseil and husband Ricky of Meadowlakes; his grandchildren, Rusty, Kelsie, Christina, Austin, Cade, and Emma; his great-grandchildren, Riley, Korbin, Tony, Taylor Faye, and Brianna; extended family and a host of friends.
