Myrtle Mae (Pennington) Mize

Formally of Decatur ~ Myrtle Mae Mize, 93, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, May 31, 2017 in Paris, Texas.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Preskitt Cemetery. No set family visitation.

Rick Ross will officiate.

Myrtle was born on March 7, 1924 to John and Emma (Lyons) Pennington in Clinton, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Riley “R.T.” Mize on September 10, 1940 in Duncan, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.T. Mize; her daughter, Deanna Triplett.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Ronnie Mize and wife Vicki of Sumner, Texas; her daughter, Tammie Mize of Decatur; her son-in-law, Jack Triplett of Decatur; her grandsons, Glenn Triplett, and Robert Huff of Decatur; her granddaughters, Teresa Triplett of Decatur, Trish Hamilton of Paris, Texas, Nancy Romine of Forestburg, Texas; numerous great and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
