Eldridge Muncy

Rhome - Eldridge Muncy, 81, went to his eternal home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 26, 2023, in Fort Worth. 

Eldridge was born June 13, 1942 to William Eldridge and Beatrice (Flatt) Muncy in Aubrey. He married Martha Ann in 1963 in Amarillo, Texas. Eldridge graduated from Friendship High School in Friendship, Oklahoma. He was a retired truck driver with Merchants Fast Motor Lines and Ryder. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to those who will miss him dearly. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Beatrice Muncy; his daughter, Kim Muncy; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years and 11 months, Martha Ann Muncy of Rhome; his son, Michael Muncy of Flower Mound; daughter Julie Ivy and husband Robert of Rhome; 7 grandchildren, Haley, Emily, Delaney, Severen, Sarai, Chandler and Katy; one great-granddaughter, Kailan; brother, Bob Muncy; sisters, Marie Muncy, Mae Edmiaston and Blondie Dickerson; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
