Decatur ~ Ezell Singleton, Sr., 87, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 13, 2020.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Crossroads Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Ezell was born March 11, 1933 to Henry and Mary (Minor) Singleton in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage December 5, 1963 to Rosa Gil in Decatur, Texas. Ezell retired from Poco Graphite, after many years as a maintenance mechanic, and was a member of Crossroads Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Singleton; his son, Ezell Singleton, Jr.; his daughter, Dolores Beaver; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Rosa Singleton of Decatur; his daughters, Elaine Singleton-Norris and husband Ricky of Ft. Worth, and Lisa Singleton-Greene and husband Chris of Decatur ; daughter, Ester Rivera and husband Alberto of Bridgeport; his son; Carlos Singleton and wife Brenda of Ft. Worth; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; his sister, Louida Willis of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
