Decatur ~ Frank D. Perrin, 87, of Decatur went to be with his Lord Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the First Baptist Church in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Pallbearers include Lito Perrin, Nicholas Whitham, Buddy White, Mike Patterson, David Saling, and Randy Patterson.
Frank was born October 16, 1934 to Earl and Exa (Womack) Perrin in Decatur, Texas. He was a graduate of Decatur High School then shortly after he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Frank married Billie Ann Saling on October 12, 1957 in Ardmore, Oklahoma and they were happily married for 64 years. They both were members at the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Exa Perrin; stepmother, Lola Perrin; brother, Charles Perrin; and 3 sisters, Earlene Buchholz, Belle Shanks, and Jo Ann Johnston.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Billie Ann Perrin; sons, Russell E. Perrin and wife Marcia of Decatur and Jeffery D. Perrin and wife Deborah of Magnolia; 2 grandchildren, Lito Perrin and Nicholas Whitham; 3 great grandchildren, Braxton and Londyn Perrin and Tessa Whitham; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
