Fraya Nell Meyer

Richmond Hill ~ Fraya Nell Meyer, 68, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Georgia.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial at Dawson Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Rev. Fred Raney will officiate. Pallbearers are Randal Dawson, Skipper Martin, Lynn Martin, Colby Loper, Casey Loper, Topper Loper, James Elkins, and Tony Chestnut.

Fraya was born on November 29, 1954 to Alvin Henry and Frances Geneva (Grooms) Dawson in Bridgeport. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Frances Dawson; her son, Alex Meyer; and her brother, Henry Alvin Dawson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Ramsey Meyer and wife Louise of Richmond Hill, Georgia; 3 grandchildren, Adora, Liam, and Jonathan; 3 sisters, Frances Beebe and husband Paul, Priscilla Loper and husband Topper, and Regina Moody; 2 brothers, John Dawson and David Dawson; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of friends, and her special dog, Chi Chi.
