James Robert Latchaw

Decatur ~ James Robert Latchaw, 70, went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 2, 2023.

James was born December 22, 1952 to Albert John and Anna May (Deible) Latchaw in Columbus, Ohio. He was united in marriage June 23, 2007 to Ellen Crocker in Lewisville, Texas. James was retired from the transportation industry after many years as owning and operating Truck Master Truck & Trailer Repair. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Anna Latchaw; and 2 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Ellen Latchaw; his daughter, Carrie Keeton; his step-son, Brandon Cole of Frisco; step-daughter, Ashley Schupp of Woodway; 7 grandchildren with one on the way; 1 great-grandchild; his sister, Ellan Young; step-mother, Shirley Boudreau; extended family members and a host of friends.
