Fort Worth ~ James Oliver (Jim) Van Hoose went to be with our Lord on January 27, 2020 in Fort Worth.
Memorial Service is 4:00 p.m. Saturday February 15, 2020 at Twin Oaks Assembly of God in Bridgeport. The family request in lieu of flowers please bring a covered dish for a reception after the service.
James Oliver (Jim) Van Hoose was born on May 28, 1941 to James William and Mary Alice (Nabors) Van Hoose. He passed from this life and into the arms of God on January 27, 2020 at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 30 days.
He was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. Jim spent his life as a truck driver for numerous trucking companies.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Van Hoose; four sisters, Jackie Newby, Janie Lindsey, Patsy Van Hoose, and Sherry Van Hoose; his daughter Sherry Lopez and his nephew Kevin Van Hoose.
He is survived by 5 brothers, Bill Van Hoose and wife Darlene of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Jerry Van Hoose and wife Norma of Runaway Bay, Texas; Travis and wife Betty of Bridgeport, Texas; Dale Van Hoose and wife LaQuita of Fort Worth,Texas; Tommy Van Hoose and wife Kim of Runaway Bay, Texas; 3 sons James Van Hoose of Livingston, Texas; Curtis Van Hoose of Avondale, Texas; Douglas Van Hoose of Cleveland, Texas; 3 grand-children; 4 great grand-children; 2 special ladies, Pat and Martha; and numerous extended family members, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
