Jean Audrey Malone

Runaway Bay ~ Jean Audrey Malone, 84, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, October 26, 2023 in Weatherford.

Jean was born on April 22, 1939 to Roy C. and Doris (Hathaway) Anderson in Lansing, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Monte Ray Malone on June 16, 1957 in Lansing, Michigan, they spent 65 loving years together before his passing in 2023. Jean was an avid golfer and was apart of the Ladies Golf Association and was club champion for several years at Weeks golf course in Wichita Falls and in Runaway Bay. She won several TX state golf tournaments. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and crafting. Jean was a member of Grace Fellowship Church where she loved to hear her favorite songs, Amazing Grace, In the Garden, and How Great Thou Art. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Doris Anderson; and her husband, Monte Malone.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Debra Malone of Runaway Bay, Vern Malone of Lake Nocona, and Kristy Kamp and husband Thomas of Burleson; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Kendi, Kagen, and Sierra; her great-grandchild, Derek; her brothers, Lee, John, and Glenn Anderson; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
