Bridgeport~ Johnny Kelvin Bryant 56, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Decatur.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pastor Brandon Blasingame to officiate.
Pallbearers are to include, Brad Bryant, Tyler Hunter, Camden Hunter, Josh Cathy, George Ogle, Michael White, Nathan Cleveland, Kerry Silhan, Robert Hatley, Buck Cobe, Mike Tacket and Terry Davidson.
Johnny was born on June 27, 1965 to Melvin Ludy and Lawana Faye (Harris) Bryant in Bridgeport. He graduated from Bridgeport High School and was a lifelong resident of Wise County. Johnny was united in marriage to the love of his life, Martha (Romines) Bryant on March 21, 1985 in Decatur and they made many wonderful memories together. He was a hard worker from early age, he loved trucks and worked as a truck driver for many years and was better known to his friends as “JB”. Johnny loved spending time with his family and friends and especially cherished spoiling his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many, who will be missed beyond words.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Delwyn and Doyle Bryant.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Martha Romines Bryant of Bridgeport; his son, Brad Ray Bryant and wife Jennifer; his daughter, Brittany Jane Hunter and husband Tyler; his grandchildren, Hunter, Emily, Channing, Camden, Mischea, Mason, Savannah, Riley, Jacob and Dylan; his brother, Jerry Bryant of Bridgeport; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
