Keith Jones

Decatur ~ Keith Jones, 68, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 21, 2022.

Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Keith was born January 4, 1954 to Kenneth and Vera (Alexander) Jones in Decatur, Texas.

He was united in marriage July 23, 1976 to Verna Pon in Decatur, Texas. Keith was a carpenter and framer for many years, and worked for Wise County Public Works for 17 years. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jackie Jones, Bobby Jones, Joe Jones, Jimmy John Jones, Shannon Jones, Julie Cottrell, and David Jones.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 46 years, Verna Jones of Decatur; his son, Ross Jones and Amber of Decatur; his daughter, Amy Jones of Denton; grandchildren, Kale, Kora, Remington, and Reese Jones of Decatur, Oma and Henry Lesley of Denton; his brother, Mike Jones of Runaway Bay; sisters, Joy Litton, Jane Miller and Sonya Jones of Bridgeport.
