Affectionately known as “BooBoy,” Nathaniel Haggerty Jr. was born the last of seven children, to Nathanial Haggerty Sr. and Pammie Haggerty (Thomas) on November 25th 1941 in Karnack Texas. While on summer break PVAMU, he met his future wife Delores Haggerty (Bass,) while working at Methodist Hospital. During his lifelong career as an engineer, including retiring from the Army Corps of Engineers, he travelled all over the world including places like Thailand, Guam, Canada and most recently Enid, Oklahoma where he was currently working.
