Peggy Holder Obituary
Bridgeport~ Peggy Joyce Holder, 81, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 17, 2023 in Bridgeport.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Smithfield Cemetery in North Richland Hills, TX. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Bill Gay will officiate. Pallbearers will include Jonathan Holder, Taylor Milici, Danny Randolph, Barry Hancock, James Brogan, Chris Romines.
Peggy was born on August 17, 1941 to J.D. and Mary Edna (Box) Baskin in Solano County, Ca. She was united in marriage to Johnny Holder on September 8, 1959 in Amarillo. Peggy retired from Lockheed-Martin as an electrical assembler, but loved spending time with her family. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved gardening, and spending time with family and friends; especially her sisters and Connie!
She was preceded in death by her parents, her infant daughter, and her sister Barbara Brogdon.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Johnny Holder of Bridgeport; her sons, Rodney Holder and wife Rhonda of Azle, James Holder of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Jonathan Holder of Bridgeport, and MaryBeth Milici and husband Taylor of Bridgeport; her great granddaughter, Mabel Jo Milici; her sister, Sue Mouton and husband Floyd of Azle; her brother, Sam Baskin and wife Sandy of Granbury; her bonus family Connie and Danny Randolph of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
