Randall "Randy" McDonald

Alvord ~ Randall “Randy” McDonald, 70, went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 10, 2023.

Celebration of Life is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at Alvord Fire Department.

Randy was born July 17, 1953 to Robert and Joy (McGee) McDonald in Bowie, Texas. He was united in marriage July 17, 1993 to Irene Brooks in Alvord, Texas. Randy was retired from the sales industry after many years working for Bruckner’s dealing in truck parts. He was a volunteer for the Alvord Fire Department, always willing to help when needed. Randy was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Joy McDonald; his daughter, Alisa Setliff; 2 sister-in-law’s, Judy Brooks & Anita Molina.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are, his wife of over 30 years, Irene McDonald of Alvord; his daughter, Jana Braverman and husband Rich, his son, Jason McDonald; daughter, Crys & Wendy McDonald; 8 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 7 great-grandchildren; his brothers, Dan & Roseanne McDonald, and Mike & Glenice McDonald; a brother-in-law, Bob & Mel Brooks; sister-in-law, Ann & John Lee; 10 nieces & nephews; extended family members and a host of friends.

Memorials in Randy's name can be made to the Alvord Volunteer Fire Department.
