Alvord ~ Robert “Bob” Carl Johnson, 85, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2020 in Decatur.

Memorial Service will to be held in the spring.

Bob was born on June 5, 1935 to Vernon and Della (Nigren) Johnson in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Nancy Nichols in August, 1955. Bob proudly serviced our country as a Marine Corp Colonel and member of the Wife County Veterans Group. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald Johnson; and his sister, Marilyn Holland.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 65 years, Nancy Johnson of Alvord; his son, Michael Johnson and wife Patti of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter, Catherine Johnson of Decatur; his 3 grandsons; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
