Obituary
Decatur ~ Sylvia Townsend, 87, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
Memorial will be at a later date.
Sylvia was born June 14, 1934 to Adolf and Augusta (Lueck) Kelm in Dallas, Texas. She was a retired payroll accountant in the Insurance business for years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Augusta Kelm; her daughter, Susan Carr, and 2 brothers, Adolf Jr. and Karl Kelm.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sally Williams of Bridgeport, and Linda Baggett of Mansfield; 6 grandchildren, Robyn Flusche, Justin Williams, Shawn Townsend, Christopher Burkam, Travis Toerck, and Ronnie McLane; 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Anna Cavin, Caroline Hirsch and Alice Anderson; extended family and a host of friends.
