Louise (Hyles) Russell

Boyd ~ Louise Hyles Russell, 88, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 20, 2017 in Weatherford.

Graveside service is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Boyd Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Sharkey Nelson will officiate.

Louise was born November 4, 1928 to Fred and Mattie (Railsback) Hyles in Big Spring, Texas.  She was united in marriage on August 9, 1947 to Robert Auford Russell, Sr. in Hico, Texas.   She owned 'The Mud Dobber', ceramic shop, and loved selling Avon.  Louise was a resident of Boyd for 53years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brothers, Ray Hyles and Henry Edward Hyles.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Robert A. Russell Jr. and wife Judy of Boyd and Ronnie Ray Russell of Big Sandy; her daughter, Cindy Clark and husband David of Boyd; her grandchildren, Forrest White of Boyd, Nicole Hollingsworth and husband Kelly of Plainview, Hillary Gutierrez and husband Dominic of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Megan Russell and Rob Vela of Manor, Victoria McCall and husband Ken of Weatherford, Robert C. Russell of Midland, and Rosline Laake and husband Greg of Gilmer; her great grandchildren, Thomas J., Randi A, Kylie Patrice, Olivia, Cooper,  Rylee, Samantha, Nolan, and  Dorothy ; her brothers, Vernon Hyles and Lloyd Dale Hyles and wife Judy of Hico; her sisters, Lorretta Finstad and husband Buster of Haltom City and Clara Grace Burnette of Aledo; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
