Lou Ann was a good ol' gal, one-of-a- kind. My friends and I got to know her in high school at McDonald's. She always had a smile for us and ALWAYS took the time to stop by our table and talk. We loved her, and she loved us. So many teenagers received that same warmth when they went to Mickey D's, thanks to Lou Ann. In later years, we always enjoyed visiting at the Reunion. Last summer, she and I shared a warm embrace and talked about her grandkids, whom she adored. Decatur lost a good woman this week, and I, like so, so many people, will miss her dearly.
