Wes was my first manager in the oil and gas business in Abilene in 1968 when I was a college student. He has remained a dear friend all these years. Through his leadership with the AAPL, he was instrumental in my training and continuous education during my career as a Landman. I have always appreciated and valued his friendship and had great respect for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Wes was a good friend and Landman. Have known him since he was Executive VP for AAPL and then worked with him, Rick Walker and other Landmen in several states and plays. Always happy and a pleasure to work with. Spent visits with him at the Ranch that I will never forget. It was my pleasure and honor to send the notice of his passing to the AAPL.
Wes will be missed but his memory will always remain!
